I’m not taking an anti dairy stance here. I loved how this drew me outside on a cold winter day! The outdoor saunas are a MUST.ĬURATION: The mini bar was stocked! From resistance bands to dried fruit to vegan gummy bears– genius! Next to the Nespresso machine was the option for non dairy coconut creamer from Laird SuperFoods. I’m not someone who feels alive by the city buildings, but seeing the water is a different story. MENTAL HEALTH: The outdoor heated pool with with saunas and insane views were amazing-The views of the vessel, the pool, and the Hudson river were incredible and provided a sense of calm. This tiny detail made the bed feel cozier– who knew NOT sharing a blanket with Evan would be SO strangely satisfying? *immediately buys second duvet for home. After turn down service, we entered our room to find not 1 blanket, but 2 side by side on our bed. In this blog, I’m sharing a few things that stood out to me as innovative, yet purposeful: The bed was incredibly comfortable and the black out shades made choosing to recharge easy, but sadly meant I did not get to experience the gym. We planned to meditate + work out Sunday morning– using the Equinox gym facilities, but ended up sleeping in to recharge. Only wish I spent more time in the hotel! We had a lot to do around the city, and I I expected it to be very trendy– the type of spot where they go hard on the “will this look good on the gram” details, and very little on the actual hotel guest experience– but this was not the case! Having found a hotel that actually replenishes and recharges my soul is a welcome relief! -and despite all the fancy hotel options in NYC-none of them ever seem to have even an inch of what is offered at Equinox Hotel Hudson Yards. As an empath- NYC runs my cortisol through the roof and despite living there for a decade, has a really depleting effect on me. In March, real estate investment firm Savanna sued Equinox for $5.3 million in unpaid rent at three New York City locations.I recently had the pleasure of ad the pleasure of saying at the Equinox Hotel in Hudson Yards, located in New York City For the first time since-ever– I’m leaving the crazy NYC energy feeling refreshed.
